Chamber holds ribbon cutting for Coastal Key Lime Pie
The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Coastal Key Lime Pie at its stationary location in the food truck parking lot next to PetSmart at 19563 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach.
“We’ve dreamed of this moment for a long time,” said co-owner Jessica Williamson. “There’s nothing better than serving up sunshine in pie form, especially at the beach we love so much. This truck is a thank-you to the incredible community that believed in us from the very beginning. And instead of opening a brick-and-mortar location, we decided to rent a parking spot in a prominent location right on Coastal Highway – it’s the perfect location for us!”
Founded by husband-and-wife team Lee and Jessica Williamson, Coastal Key Lime Pie has always been a labor of love. From day one, the couple prioritized quality ingredients, small-batch recipes and a homemade touch that sets their pies apart.
Every bite is a tribute to their passion for food that brings people together, said Lee Williamson. “Our pies are made with love, by hand and from scratch. This food truck lets us share that love in a whole new way – up close, face to face, with locals and vacationers alike,” he said.
Jessica Williamson said Coastal Key Lime Pie credits much of its success to the support of their family, a dedicated team and the local community. “We couldn’t have done any of this without them. This isn’t just our business; it’s something we’ve built together with the people who mean the most to us,” she said.
