Beebe Healthcare introduces four new clinicians
Beebe Healthcare announced the addition of four new clinicians from diverse specialty areas who share the organization’s commitment to providing the best in medicine for those who live in, work in, and visit Sussex County.
Bader Al Omour, MD, specializes in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology, with a concentrated interest in the diagnosis and treatment of solid tumors and colon cancer. He provides comprehensive care for cancer patients of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with the majority of his time spent at Beebe’s Tunnell Cancer Center. “I always wanted to stay in the Northeast Region,” he said. “When I visited Beebe, I loved how the people in the hospital were very friendly and looked happy at work. I knew quickly this is where I wanted to be.”
Victoria Nelson, APRN, FNP-BC, ACHPN, is a palliative care specialist who provides comprehensive, compassionate care for patients of all ages who have been diagnosed with chronic, life-limiting conditions. She sees patients who have been admitted to Beebe as well as those who require ongoing treatment through home visits. Advanced care planning, patient and family support, and holistic care that addresses the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of patients are Nelson’s core priorities.
“I am excited to begin my journey at Beebe and to be a part of a team that focuses on patient- and family-centered care,” said Nelson. “Honoring patient and families' goals of care and preserving quality of life and comfort is so important to me.”
Annette Manson, MSN, CRNP, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner who provides comprehensive care for patients who have been diagnosed with a wide range of acute illnesses and chronic diseases. As a primary care provider, Manson focuses heavily on patient education and is committed to providing resources to help people improve their overall health and wellness.
“I am excited to join Beebe because the organization is focused on providing quality, inclusive and equitable care, which is important to me,” said Manson.
Asil Omar, PA-C, is a physician assistant who works at various walk-in-care centers operated by Beebe Healthcare. She diagnoses and treats a wide range of issues that require prompt medical attention but are not considered life-threatening, ranging from influenza and COVID-19 to strep throat, bronchitis, lacerations and minor injuries. Omar sees patients of all ages.
“I have an interest in urgent care and really enjoy the procedural aspect of medicine, but have experience in a variety of clinical specialties that I acquired during my education and training,” said Omar. “Having grown up on the Eastern Shore, I am excited to join Beebe and provide healthcare to serve my community.”
