Members of the Lewes Senior Activity Center recently traveled to Costa Rica, bringing along a copy of the Cape Gazette. The group posed on the Continental Divide with their favorite newspaper and stayed at the base of Arenal Volcano, enjoying a clear view of its smoking dome. They swam in the Pacific’s clear waters and spotted wildlife on a river cruise, including sloths, howler monkeys, caiman, basilisks, iguanas, and several bird species. A favorite memory was the daily visits from curious coatimundis on their decks.
