Shore United Bank collects school supplies for Cape students

Shore United Bank in Rehoboth recently held a successful drive to collect school supplies for students in the Cape Henlopen district.
Local businesses and community members donated 25 backpacks and a variety of items including pencils, crayons and notebooks.
To bring the initiative to life, Kathleen Hansen, branch operations manager, worked directly with Craig Warrington, homeless liaison at the Cape school district.
“As a community bank, we feel that it is important to give back to the community we serve. What better way to do that than to ensure our children have the things they need to succeed in school?” said Hansen.
