Lewes library to host talks Oct. 9-10
The Lewes Public Library announced two upcoming author events to be held at the library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes, and online via Zoom.
Presented in partnership with Browseabout Books, Kitty Zeldis will discuss her new novel, “One of Them,” at 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 9. The story of secrets, friendship and betrayal centers on two young women at Vassar in the years after World War II. A moving tale of prejudice and pride, the themes echo modern-day cultural and social issues.
Rehoboth Beach Writers Guild will welcome author Karen Dukess at 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 10, as she shares her funny and heartfelt new novel, “Welcome to Murder Week.” An American woman travels to the English countryside when she discovers tickets her late mother had purchased for a murder mystery simulation in a small British town. Dukess will be in conversation with Maribeth Fischer, an author and writers guild executive director.
Registration is required at tinyurl.com/zoomwithauthors or the library website, lewes.lib.de.us. Participants will be asked to select virtual or in-person attendance.
