Dewey Goes Pink draws thousands

14th annual event raises funds for Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition
October 4, 2025

Thousands attended the 14th annual Dewey Goes Pink fundraiser Oct. 4 in Dewey Beach. The event raises money for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

A 5K race and 1-mile walk kicked off at 11 a.m., following a singing of the national anthem by Kristen Kwolek, lead singer of Kristen & The Noise.

After the race, folks packed The Starboard for drinks and live music by Kristen & The Noise and Bryan O’Boyle. Bethany Blues BBQ provided food.

To date, the event has garnered more than $1.9 million for the DBCC, not including the funds raised this year. This year’s fundraising total and attendance are still to come.

Last year, the event drew more than 5,000 attendees and raised $365,000.
