Milton Public Library to celebrate 150th anniversary Oct. 18

The Friends of the Milton Public Library will host the library’s 150th Anniversary Gala at 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, at the library, 121 Union St., Milton. Tickets for the 21 and over event are on sale now at the library.

Two ticketed levels of support are available, $25 and $35. The higher level includes two tickets for beverages provided by Dogfish Head Brewery and Twin Branch Winery. Complimentary food and desserts are being provided by local restaurants including Irish Eyes, Zava Café and The Dough Bar.

Kevin Grace will provide the entertainment, performing his unique style of ‘50s and ‘60s rock ‘n’ roll music. There will be silent auction items and raffle baskets. One raffle ticket will be included with admission, and additional tickets will be available for purchase.

The Friends of the Milton Public Library is a nonprofit organization that sponsors the library’s community outreach events.
