Pro Exteriors to kick off holiday food drive Nov. 1
Pro Exteriors is preparing to launch its annual community food drive with a bold new goal for 2025. Following a successful campaign last year, the company is ramping up its efforts for 2.5 in 2025, aiming to collect 2.5 tons (5,000 pounds) of nonperishable food to benefit the Milton Community Food Pantry and The Shepherd's Office.
As part of its continued Community Pro Pledge, Pro Exteriors is again partnering with local businesses to help lessen the burden of food insecurity this holiday season. The drive will run from Nov. 1 through Dec. 31.
“Food insecurity is a year-round challenge, but it looms especially large on our neighbors during the holidays,” said Aaron Rogers, Pro Exteriors owner and president. “By setting a goal of 2.5 tons, we’re challenging our community to step up and show how much they care. Love your community — that’s what this drive is all about. We can't hit this ambitious goal without everyone's support.”
Pro Exteriors is calling on area residents, schools and businesses to help reach this record-breaking goal, and share the 2.5 in 2025 challenge with friends, family and colleagues. Anyone can learn how to contribute and find a complete list of accepted items by going to askproexteriors.com/2025-food-drive.
Supporters can drop off their donations at any of the official collection points, including the Pro Exteriors office at 221 Milton-Ellendale Hwy., Milton, and other participating local businesses, or schedule a pickup.
Most-needed Items include: canned meats (tuna, chicken), peanut butter and jelly, pasta and sauce, rice, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, and shelf-stable milk.
“By working together, we can ensure that our local food pantries are stocked and ready to serve those in need through the winter months,” said Rogers.
