Stanley Jordan among the performers at closing jam
October 20, 2025

Stanley Jordan didn’t say a word. He let his guitar do the talking.

The jazz great was among the performers at the Grand Jam, the all-star finale to the 36th annual Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival.

The closing performances were held Oct. 19, before a packed house at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.

Brian Simpson, a 14-year jazz festival veteran, played the keyboard and served as an on-stage emcee. He introduced an all-star lineup that included Jordan and others who performed in the area during the four-day fall music event.

Jessy J and Vincent Ingala performed on the saxophone. Linsey Webster and Lori Williams sang the classics. Rick Braun gave an amazing rendition of the “The Good Life” on the horn. Blake Aaron, who was making his first visit to Rehoboth, jammed on jazz guitar. He even made his way through the aisles while playing.

The Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival is scheduled for Oct. 15-18, 2026.
