Cape basketball coach Steve Re’s pre-season clinic was held Oct. 11, in the high school gymnasium.
More than 50 rising stars attended to glean skills to help propel their competency to the next level. Coaches who taught the campers were varsity coaches and players from the Vikings’ squads, including new Cape girls’ coach Ron Dukes.
“The preseason clinic was a great success,” said Re. “The coaches and players all worked together to give the campers a great experience. They ran skill stations, played 3-on-3 and 5-on 5-games. The kids worked hard, got a lot of playing time, and had fun with the varsity players coaching them. It was a great experience on a Saturday morning.”
