Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians supports Food Bank of Delaware

A delegation of 12 members from the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Celtic Cross Division 1, Sussex County, along with their President Kathleen Cadigan, recently visited the Food Bank of Delaware in Milford.
After a nutritious lunch in the café, the group members presented a $500 donation check to Cathy Kanefsky, Food Bank of Delaware president.
The members were treated to a guided tour of the facility and learned about the function and workings of all aspects of the Food Bank. The tour ended with a view of the volunteer sorting room and the healthy food pantry that provides nutritious items for Delaware residents in need who arrive at their doors.
