Mid-Atlantic Women of Hospitality Conference slated Nov. 18

November 12, 2025

The Mid-Atlantic Women of Hospitality Conference, set for Tuesday, Nov. 18, at The Queen venue in Wilmington, will bring together more than 200 women from all areas of hospitality and beyond for a day of leadership, inspiration and community.

Founded in 2019 by the Delaware Restaurant Association, the conference continues its mission to foster leadership development, allyship and meaningful connection across the hospitality industry.

Attendees will include women from restaurants, hotels, catering, tourism, education and related fields, ranging from those just beginning their careers to seasoned leaders and entrepreneurs.

This year’s theme, The Power of Resilient Leadership, highlights the strength and adaptability of women navigating change in their careers and communities. The day will feature keynote sessions, interactive workshops and conversations designed to inspire confidence, connection and courage in leadership.

New this year, the conference will also spotlight three Women to Watch—dynamic leaders who exemplify boldness, creativity and resilience, and are shaping the future of Delaware’s hospitality industry.

The 2025 honorees are Madula Kalesis, City of Milford council member and owner of the Westside Restaurant in Milford; Vonda Benson, owner, Aunt Vonda’s Kitchen Table, Newark; and Caroline Wetzelberger, chef and owner, The Station Restaurant, Fenwick Island.

These inspiring women will be celebrated at the conference, featured on womenofhospitality.com, and highlighted across DRA’s social media channels.

“This event continues to grow each year, creating a space for women to learn, share and lift one another up,” said Carrie Leishman, DRA president and CEO. “It’s an incredible reflection of the talent, resilience and leadership found throughout the hospitality industry.”
