Nadine Morse Noble, teacher, eucharistic minister

Nadine Morse Noble of Henlopen Acres (formerly of Dover) died suddenly Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025. She was born May 22, 1948, in Binghamton, N.Y., to the late Guy E. Morse and Anne Suflita Morse.

Nadine graduated from Unionville-Chadds Ford High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Chestnut Hill College and her master's degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She taught at Dover Air Force Base High School and Caesar Rodney High School for 30 years. After moving to the beach, she spent her time working in her yard, cooking, reading, playing bridge, and serving as a eucharistic minister at St. Edmond Catholic Church in Rehoboth Beach.

Nadine was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, John W. Noble; their children, Elizabeth of Evanston, Ill., Thomas (Allyson) of Alexandria, Va., and William (Rachel) of Madison, Conn.; four grandchildren, Matthew, Nora, Harper and Grayson; and two siblings, Alan G. Morse of West Chester, Pa., and Adele M. O’Connell of Corinth, N.Y.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Friday Nov. 7, at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach, where visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow the mass at Epworth Methodist Cemetery, Henlopen Ave., Rehoboth Beach.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Nadine's memory a charity of choice would be appreciated.
