Cape Henlopen Senior Center needs community’s help

November 7, 2025

I would like to invite the entire Rehoboth-area community to help us launch our fundraising efforts to support the Cape Henlopen Senior Center as it prepares to relocate to its new, enhanced and expanded campus on Hebron Road in West Rehoboth. The center has served our community very well over the last half-century, but now as our senior population continues to expand, we see the very real need to offer more services to more people. The new campus will offer more meeting space, more programs and acres of free parking!

To make this all come together, we need community help. The Friends of Cape Henlopen Senior Center are holding an evening of tastings and talent, with treats from local providers and cabaret-style performances from our friends at Clear Space Theatre. The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, at the convention center in Rehoboth. Tickets are available on the Cape Henlopen Senior Center website at capehenlopenseniorcenter.org. Please join us for a fun event benefiting a great cause. Thank you all in advance.
