Cape wins boys’ cross country title

The Cape boys’ cross country team won the Division I DIAA championship Nov. 8 at Killens Pond State Park.
The Vikings placed five runners in the top 15 to claim the title. Jason Baker, fighting an injury, finished second in the field. Cape’s 42 points were well ahead of second-place Salesianum with 73.
The Cape girls’ placed fourth in the Division I race.
