Harry K Foundation, Perdue, Food Bank team up for annual meal delivery

November 22, 2025

Every year for the holidays, the Harry K Foundation, Perdue Farms and the Food Bank of Delaware team up to bring a little bit of joy to local families by providing chicken roasters and food boxes to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Volunteers gathered Nov. 14 at the food bank in Milford to pack 1,000 Thanksgiving meals that were delivered throughout Delaware, but mostly in Kent and Sussex counties. The three organizations have teamed up for six years to prepare food for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The chicken roasters were provided by Perdue, while food boxes containing stuffing, potatoes, corn bread and vegetables came from the Food Bank.
