The Cape Henlopen Theatre group and the Cape Thespians are presenting Lost Girl through Sunday, Nov. 23 at the Cape Henlopen High School theater.
“Lost Girl” picks up where Peter Pan left off, following Wendy Darling as she grows up and wrestles with the lingering memories of Neverland. Wendy decides she must find Peter again in order to reclaim her kiss and move on with her life. Along the way, she meets other girls who went to Neverland, and learns she is not alone. A coming-of-age exploration of first love and lasting loss, “Lost Girl” continues the story of J.M. Barrie’s beloved character – the girl who had to grow up.
The play is directed by Cape drama teacher Sadie Andros; the theater technician is Gary Flowers. Technical direction is by Josh Dickson, while the assistant director is Legacy Hayes.
The curtain rises at 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Nov. 21-22, and at 2 p.m., Sunday Nov. 23.
