Pediatric nurse practitioner joins Atracare clinical team

December 23, 2025

Atracare recently welcomed Christina Minissale, CRNP, to its growing pediatric team.

Minissale brings advanced training and a broad range of experience in both acute and chronic pediatric care, further strengthening Atracare’s commitment to high-quality, family-centered healthcare. Atracare is answering the call to find well-qualified pediatric providers needed by families in order to gain access to healthcare where there are limited resources.

Minissale earned her master of science degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, where she specialized in pediatric health and care of children with complex medical needs. She began her nursing career in the neonatal intensive care unit at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, gaining a strong clinical foundation in caring for medically fragile infants and supporting families during critical moments.

She later transitioned to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she spent two years providing care as a nurse practitioner in the emergency department. Her experience across hospital, emergency and primary care settings has shaped her holistic approach to pediatric care – supporting families through routine wellness visits as well as more complex and urgent health concerns.

Minissale’s clinical interests include caring for children with developmental and behavioral health needs, and empowering families through education so children can reach their fullest potential. She is passionate about building strong partnerships with families and providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each child’s unique needs. Minissale said she is excited about seeing new pediatric patients and helping families establish care in Sussex County.
