MSO Ensemble Series concert set Feb. 7 in Rehoboth Beach

The Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra Ensemble Series will present a concert at 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, at Epworth United Methodist Church, 19285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach.

Strings and woodwinds performers include Celaya Kirchner, principal second violin; Yuri Tomenko, principal viola; Katie McCarthy, principal cello; Dana Newcomb, principal oboe; and Cheryl Hill, principal clarinet. Together, the ensemble brings a wide range of musical styles and historical periods into close conversation, showcasing both individual virtuosity and collaborative musicianship.

The musicians will perform Franz Schubert’s “String Trio in B-flat major, D. 471”; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Oboe Quartet in F major, K. 370”; and Krzysztof Penderecki’s “Quartet for Clarinet and String Trio.”
