RES Student Leadership Team presents assembly
Rehoboth Elementary School’s Student Leadership Team members are a dedicated group of fourth- and fifth-grade students who consistently demonstrate responsibility, kindness and a commitment to helping others.
These conscientious student leaders willingly give up one recess each week to support their school community and serve as positive role models for their peers.
Recently, the team led a school-wide assembly for all grade levels. Students shared about real-life social situations and offered thoughtful advice on how to handle them respectfully and responsibly. The presentation encouraged positive decision-making and reinforced the importance of empathy and leadership throughout the school.
The assembly also celebrated student achievement, recognizing 120 student leaders as well as classmates who have earned perfect attendance. Highlighting some of the diverse voices and talents within the Rehoboth Elementary community, several multilingual learner students shared how they use their leadership skills in the classroom and throughout the school.
“We are incredibly proud of our Student Leadership Team and the example they set for others,” said Dr. Doris Person, Rehoboth Elementary School principal. “Through their leadership, assemblies and service to the school, they help create a culture where every student feels valued, supported and inspired to do their best.”
