An Angola-area home was damaged Feb. 24 by a fallen tree.
The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company responded at 2:07 p.m. to the home on Canal Drive Extended in the Short Hills development off Banks Road. Firefighters found a tree had fallen onto the home’s roof.
Emergency responders completed an external evaluation, secured the utility service and attempted to assist with temporary housing accommodations.
The tree fell onto the home’s roof.
