Michael Dennis O'Neill Sr., had adventurous spirit

Michael Dennis O'Neill Sr., 63, of Millsboro, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Michael was a man known for his strong work ethic, quick wit, and remarkable ability to master anything he set his mind to. He was exceptionally skilled and highly knowledgeable in the plumbing field, earning the respect of many who worked alongside him or relied on his expertise.

Outside of work, Michael embraced life with passion and adventure. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson, spending time hunting and fishing, and was a true animal lover. Known by family and friends as an adrenaline junkie, he lived life boldly and fully, always ready for the next adventure.

Michael is survived by his loving spouse, Wendy O'Neill; his children, Michael O'Neill Jr., Marcus O'Neill, Summer Bryson, Amber McCabe and Brian McCabe; and his 14 cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Gary O'Neill and Geri Wagamon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph F. O'Neill and Barbara O'Neill; and his brother, Joseph M. O'Neill.

Michael will be remembered for his strength, knowledge, loyalty to his family, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
