In the Citizen Photographer documentary, Andre’ Wright, Jr. invites us to consider the question, “What does it mean to be a Delawarean at the nation’s 250th anniversary?” The Citizen Photographer initiative complements DelArt’s semiquincentennial exhibition, Citizen Artist, inviting Delawareans to explore that question through photography. A master storyteller, Wright, Jr., captures the photographers who led and participants who engaged in workshops across the state. His documentary short film weaves the individual and the collective together, mirroring our personal reflections onto those shared by many.
