Community members came together to connect American Idol alum and country singer Kellie Pickler with the daughters of Nicole Bennett.
Lauren and Emily Bennett are fans of the country pop singer and met with her before a rained-out concert at Heron Ponds in Delmar. Even though the show did not go on, Pickler still met the Bennett family, said Bob Bennett.
Bennett thanked Doug and Krystal Marsall and Jonathan Taylor for organizing the meeting. "The look on the girls' faces when meeting privately with Kellie Pickler was priceless," Bennett said.
