Joseph E. Lee Whalen died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, in Milford. He was born in Cheltenham, Md. He was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline; and is survived by his wife Charlotte and three daughters: Deborah Bunting, Lori Reimann and Dawn Weisman; four grandchildren; two stepsons, Russ and Kurt Hartmeyer; and four stepgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Melson’s Funeral Home, Ocean View, at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 19, where friends and family may call after 1 p.m. Charitable donations to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 are encouraged.
