Louis Fisher's name appears on the Lewes Fire Department's marquee as the final alarm is sounded. BY RON MACARTHUR
Members of the Lewes Fire Department paid tribute Oct. 8 to Louis L. Fisher, who passed away last week. Fisher, who was a volunteer for 61 years, was a World War II veteran who also served as Lewes police chief. On its way to Bethel Cemetery, the funeral procession stopped by Lewes City Hall and the fire station for the last alarm ceremony.
