Max Euler scores game winner as Cape soccer beats Central 2-1

The Cape soccer team won a critical contest Oct. 18 at home, defeating Sussex Central 2-1. And it was Senior Night.

The game was tied 1-1 at halftime on goals by Davis Cespedes from Max Euler at 6:15 into the game answered by Perfecto Perez on a pass from Alberto Sosa at the 25-minute mark.

The deciding goal came at 62:59 of the second half on a strike by Euler off an assist from Cespedes.

Sussex Central goalie Jon Soto was credited with 17 saves as Cape sent 30 shots toward the goal.

Cape Griffin Kammerer saved 6 of the 7 shots he faced.
