Patricia ‘Kathy’ Mitchell, creative designer

Patricia Kathryne (Kathy) Vogt Mitchell passed away peacefully at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012. after a brief battle with cancer. Kathy was born in Abilene, Texas Nov. 4, 1960, and just celebrated her 52nd birthday. She had a rewarding career in the savings and loan and commercial and residential building fields, and was a very gifted and creative designer and maker of many beautiful craft items.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Michael A. Vogt; and is survived by her mother and father Patricia and Jack L. Vogt of Lewes; son Jason Vogt and his wife Erin of Tallahassee, Fla.; daughter Loren Mitchell of Lewes; brother James A. Vogt of Lewes; brother Jeffrey S. Vogt and his wife Sandra of Montgomery Village, Md.; a sister-in-law; three nieces; and one nephew.

Services will be held at Conley’s United Methodist Church Chapel at 22150 Robinsonville Road, Lewes, Delaware at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14. A memorial service will be held at Bethesda United Methodist Church, Damascus, M.d, at 7 p.m., Thursday Nov. 15.
