Sussex Tech names Dona Troyer April Staff Member of the Month

Sussex Technical High School named Dona Troyer of Lincoln as its Staff Member of the Month for April 2013. She is shown being presented the award certificate by Principal Dr. John Demby. Troyer stepped in to fill an unexpected vacancy in mid-February and has kept the position running smoothly for the students.

In making the announcement, Demby said Troyer, “took over the responsibilities at a very difficult time and has handled them graciously and professionally.”

Troyer is the mother of one Sussex Tech graduate and now has three more children attending the school, plus an exchange student. She has been a much-requested substitute teacher at Sussex Tech for the past three years. She has homeschooled many children and enjoys working with teenagers.
