Elite Connection Hockey Camp returns to Cape turf

July 11, 2013

Carrie Lingo and her Elite Connection Hockey Camp made their annual stop at the second turf field at Cape Henlopen High School July 9-12. More than 40 players from ages six through 18 were exposed to high-quality instruction in all aspects of the game of field hockey.

Regardless of age, skill level or ability, the campers took away valuable lessons to help them become a better field hockey player. Instructors were current and past USA National Field Hockey Team members, all with Olympic experience.

"I just love the camp," said third-year camper Charis Suh of Middletown. "I've learned a lot and it's really cool that the coaches are all Olympians."

"I'm really impressed with the camper's work ethic this year," said Camp Director Carrie Lingo. "The campers are so positive and it makes it easy to teach them. I'm also so lucky and honored to have such an amazing coaching staff. We had so much fun."
