Martin Gonzalez Colon, Allen Foods retiree

Martin Gonzalez Colon, 67, of Georgetown, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at Bayhealth MMilford Memorial Hospital in Milford.
Martin was born in Puerto Rico, son of the late Felix and Cecilia (Colon) Gonzalez. He worked for Allen Foods, retiring several years ago.
Martin is survived by his wife of 28 years, Myrna Laboy Irizarry; five children, Crystal and Margicilia Gonzalez, Martin Jr., Marilyn and Maybelline Gonzalez Pacheco; and 10 siblings, Annie, Margarita, Zocorro, Juena, Sarah, Felix, Carlos, Ines, Santos and Luciano Gonzalez.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, with visitation after 11 a.m. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
