American Legion Auxiliary Unit 17 Thanksgiving thanks

December 9, 2013

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 17 wishes to thank all the individuals and businesses that donated money and/or food to help with the successful delivery of 17 complete Thanksgiving dinners for families. Post 17 donated 17 turkeys and the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 17 made a monetary donation.

Our American Legion family at Post 17 considers it a privilege to help make our communities a better place to live.

The support from the following businesses was greatly appreciated by our organization, but more importantly by the families receiving the help: Giant Food (hwy 1), Food Lion (Five Points), Tunnell & Raysor, P.A. and their employees.

Deborah Guenther
Unit 17 president
