Thirteen Cape Henlopen JROTC cadets assisted with the Korean War Veterans Association annual community breakfast March 15 at Applebee's in Rehoboth. The purpose of the breakfast was to raise money for veterans and for student scholarships.
Cadets not only greeted customers and seated them, but waited and bussed tables. The breakfast, held from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., proved a success on both counts.
Cape Henlopen cadets who volunteered their time were Jack Rothner, Casea Carrasquillo, Nicholas Voyce, Cassidy Blevins, Nicole Surface, Austin Kitchen, Lexi Atsidis, Cody Ross, Josh Betts, Alex Dominick, Michael Lopez, Zachary Harris and John Dean.
