The producers of the Bethany Beach First Responders Triathlon-Duathlon-Aquabike event - Rick Hundley, Ernie Felici and Tim Bamforth - along with Seashore Striders, are proud to produce the Justin's Beach House 5K and 2-Mile Walk Saturday, May 24, in Bethany Beach. The family fun walk/run is presented by Gale Force Cleaning & Restoration.

"We were thrilled to integrate fitness, fun and philanthropy at the beach," said Hundley.

About 1,000 athletes are expected to participate along with hundreds of spectators as they gather at 7:30 a.m. at the Bethany Beach Bandstand on the boardwalk at Garfield Parkway in support of Justin’s Beach House, which is a haven and destination for children and their families who are battling cancer.

Register at jbh5k.com.  Last year's event was a sellout.

Justin's Beach House is a respite home for families dealing with cancer and offers time away from doctors and hospitals. It is a place for the family to relax and unwind, free of charge, in Bethany Beach.

This beautiful home sleeps 10 with five bedrooms and five-and-a-half baths. There is a full kitchen and dining room on the third floor along with sun decks and gathering rooms on all three floors.
