All six classrooms of Richard Shields Elementary School first-graders walked from the school to Fisherman's Wharf May 28 on the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal for the annual dolphin watch cruise. Students, teachers and chaperones filled two boats and weren't disappointed. Several dolphins were sighted during the trip in the Delaware Bay out to the Atlantic Ocean.
