Dr. Harold Koenig, World Renown researcher in the field of Health and Spirituality, will speak at Bethel UMC Lewes, DE, Sunday, October 12th. Dr. Koenig is Director of the Center for Health and Spirituality, Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and Associate Professor of Medicine at United Methodist related Duke University. Dr. Koenig’s topic for Sunday is, “Faith and Health: How They are Related and Why.” For this special occasion the morning schedule will be traditional worship at 8:00 in the sanctuary and blended worship at 10:00 a.m. in fellowship Hall. Bethel UMC is hosting Dr. Koenig in conjunction with the Parkinson’s Education and Support Community of Sussex County who are hosting a weekend Symposium on Health and Spirituality, October 10-12.
