The Sussex County Republican Women's Club is honored to host guest speaker, Christine Dolan, at their 6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22 dinner meeting at Baywood Greens Clubhouse.

The program, Tots To Trafficking To Terrorism, was born of Dolan's years as a broadcasting and print investigative journalist, photographer, and author, as well as her experience working as political director of CNN.

The public is invited to attend this compelling program. Reservations are required by Saturday, Oct. 18, and may be made by calling Kelly Roberts at 302-945-4556.

SCRWC First Vice President Cathy Watts said, “We are most honored to have Christine Dolan speak to our members and guests. Her passion and deep concern for the plight of the world's children is evident throughout her work and this program will be very timely in view of the rise of terrorism in the world today. The U.S. State Department just announced a terrorist alert for Americans in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Mideast.”

Dolan, whose career has focused on U.S. and international politics and policy, wars and conflicts, humanitarian disasters, terrorism and criminal networks, has also traveled extensively throughout Africa. Since 2000, she has focused on human trafficking worldwide on the street and over the internet, as well as politics.

It is the mission of the Sussex County Republican Women's Club to assist in the election of Republican candidates, act as advocates for the Republican Party's principles and to empower women to participate in the political process.
