Anna M. Moore, retired secretary
Anna M. Moore, 84, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014. She was born March 27, 1930, in Kirkwood, N.J., daughter of the late William and Margret Ansley.
Anna was married to Thomas L. Moore for 61 years and they resided for many years in Woodbury, N.J. They would later retire to Rehoboth Beach and Sun City Center. Anna was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center.
Anna was a homemaker, teacher’s aid and secretary. She retired from Glassboro State College in 1987, where she worked in the library. Anna enjoyed traveling and cruising around the world in retirement. She also enjoyed the beaches of Delaware, Maryland and especially the Gulf Coast of Florida.
In addition to her parents Anna was preceded in death by her siblings Helen, Margret, Frances and George. She is survived by her husband, Thomas of Sun City Center; her son, Thomas W. Moore of Philadelphia, Pa.; her daughter, Theresa A. Shope of Fogelsville, Pa; one granddaughter, Erin T. Shope of Rochester, N.Y.; and one grandson, Colin D. Shope of Philadelphia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 29, at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach, where friends may visit beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at 1 p.m., at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
