Bethel Christian School registration now open
Continuing its long-standing tradition of providing top-quality preschool education, Bethel Christian School is accepting student registrations for the 2015-16 school year. Bethel Christian School has openings for children ages 2 through 4, as well as in its unique enrichment program and full- and half-day kindergarten classes. BCS is at Bethel United Methodist Church on 4th Street in downtown Lewes.
For over 15 years, BCS students have been encouraged to strengthen their social skills and self-confidence, and develop a love of learning. Fun and interactive Bible study activities are regularly scheduled and inspire children and their families to put God’s teaching into practice in their everyday lives. In the preschool programs, math and reading readiness skills are introduced even to the youngest students, with teachers using play, music and movement to keep the children engaged throughout the school day.
A strong academic and integrated kindergarten curriculum provides opportunities for children to learn and hone their skills in math, exploration and computation, phonics and reading, whole language and writer’s workshop, science discoveries, writing journals as well as social studies topics that extend into the child’s environment. Children learn to be independent learners, readers and writers.
