Firefly announces 2015 lineup
Firefly Music Festival will return to The Woodlands at Dover International Speedway this summer with headliners including Kings of Leon, The Killers and one act yet to be announced.
The festival returns to The Woodlands Thursday, June 18, through Sunday, June 21.
Despite weeks of speculation that Firefly organizers were waiting on confirmation that Paul McCartney would headline this year's music festival, the lineup has been announced with a flyer that shows a blurred space where McCartney's name ran on a lineup that was leaked about two months ago.
In addition to headliners, the festival will also bring Morrissey, Snoop Dog, Foster the People, Zedd, Hozier, Bastille, Modest Mouse and nearly 100 additional acts to perform among seven stages.
“2015 marks Firefly's fourth year and we're bringing our best lineup to date,” Firefly Music Festival Director Greg Bostrom said in a press release. “We're looking forward to revealing our third headliner as well as to June while we prepare to give fans the most memorable weekend of their summer.”
For the first time, the festival will be broadcast live on AXS TV, with air dates from Friday, June 19, through Sunday, June 21.
