Browseabout Books to host beer-themed event May 23

Browseabout Books in Rehoboth Beach is celebrating the start of the summer season with a beer-themed event from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 23.

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery will be on-site at Browseabout, offering samples and chatting it up. Beer bard and blogger Tony Russo will also be signing copies of "Eastern Shore Beer," a heady history of beer in the area. In addition to working as a reporter, Russo hosts the weekly Beer with Strangers podcast with homebrew legend Doug Griffith and writes the State of the Beer blog at shorecraftbeer.com. He also speaks to civic and fraternal groups about the history, culture and economic import of craft beer.

To keep things interesting and get people talking, they’ll also be asking literary trivia questions with a beer theme, with prizes to give away for correct answers.
