Pivot Physical Therapy has a fresh face in its Lewes office.
Danielle Wagamon recently joined the staff as a physical therapist, working with Pivot's Cape Region patients to reach their goals of a comfortable and healthy life.
Wagamon comes to Lewes from the Washington, D.C. area, where she worked in an out-patient facility in McLean, Va. Wagamon's husband is a Cape Region native, and the couple had spent nearly every summer weekend in Lewes in recent years. They finally made Lewes their home this summer, and Wagamon knew she found the right place when interviewing at Pivot. The transition has been easy, both personally and professionally, she said.
“I want to immerse myself in the community,” she said. “I want to get to know the patients and obviously help people in achieving their goals. The greatest part of my job is that I get to help people.”
Wagamon grew up in northern California, earned her bachelor's degree at Cal State Fullerton and attended graduate school at the University of St. Augustine in San Diego.
Pivot has offices in Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Long Neck, Georgetown, Milford, Ocean View, Selbyville, Seaford, Smyrna, Middletown, Mill Creek and Dover. Pivot's Lewes office is located at 701 Savannah Road next to Lloyd's Market. To reach the office, call 302-644-2530.
