Food Truck Friday to start at 4 p.m. Oct. 9 in Rehoboth

October 8, 2015

The popular local fundraiser Food Truck Friday will move its start time to 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 9. “Our lines are long, and we don’t have as much daylight as we did in September,” said event producer Reber Whitner, explaining the change. Food Truck Friday, held on the second and fourth Fridays of the month, draws hundreds of patrons to Epworth United Methodist Church's parking lot on Holland Glade Road in Rehoboth. The event will run until 7 p.m.

Returning vendors will include Mama Mia, Mojo Loco, Rosenfeld’s Roadside Jewish Deli, Jakarta’s Indonesian Curbside Gourmet, The Sea Hogg, Sherri’s Crab Cakes, Big Thunder Roadside Kitchen, Hot Dogs at the Beach, Sno Yo and A Latté Soul. Two new vendors will be The Polish Connection and Backyard Louie’s BBQ. Live music will be provided by John Inkster and friends.

Food Truck Friday raises money for the Food and Love Soup Kitchen and Epworth Skate Park. For more information, go to www.eumcrb.org/FoodTruckFridays or follow on Facebook: Food-Truck-Friday.
