Lewes in Bloom holiday wreath orders due by Nov. 13

Lewes in Bloom holiday wreaths are available to order through Friday, Nov. 13. This year, 20-, 24- and 32-inch wreaths are available. Delivery of the wreaths will be Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 1 and 2.  Proceeds support Lewes in Bloom, which helped the City of Lewes win the recent America in Bloom competition. Lewes is in America in Bloom’s prestigious Circle of Champions. Support for the organization allows it to continue the beautiful plantings in Lewes parks and gardens.

Residents can also be among the first to own a one-of-a-kind Lewes in Bloom bangle bracelet. It will be available in mid-November and comes in silver or gold tone for $29. The bracelet will be available at Blooming Boutique starting Tuesday, Dec. 1, and also at the Lewes in Bloom Christmas Market, set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5,  at St. Peter’s Church courtyard.

Lewes in Bloom is a volunteer organization of more than 140 members, who in 2014-15 spent hundreds of hours planting thousands of bulbs and plants throughout the city. It promotes the beautification and maintenance of historic Lewes and the community at large. It is dedicated to helping Lewes boost its attractiveness through a variety of efforts including historical preservation, environmental awareness, a children’s garden, floral displays and more.
