Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting & Sing-Along
The official kickoff to the 2015 holiday season will be Rehoboth Beach Main Street’s downtown Tree Lighting & Sing-Along, November 27, 6:30-7 p.m. This year’s tree was generously donated by Harriett Magee of Rehoboth Beach. Doug Yetter & the CAMP Rehoboth Chorus will host the Sing-Along and officially illuminate the City’s most famous tree. Drexel Davison, owner of Bad Hair Day, will be MCing the event and dancers from Sussex Dance Academy will be dressed in costume from The Nutcracker passing out candy canes to the crowd. Song lyrics for the sing-along will be available to Cape Gazette subscribers as an insert beginning November 24 and on newsstands beginning Black Friday, November 27. Everyone is invited to this cherished annual tradition where thousands of spectators gather to ring in the holiday spirit in downtown Rehoboth Beach. Come early and stay late.
