The 2015 DIAA state champion field hockey team was honored Nov. 23 with a pep rally in the Cape gymnasium. Every student in the school was invited to take part in recognizing the five-time DIAA champs.
Assistant Principal Mike Dmiterchik acted as emcee for the event and gave accolades to each fall sports team and the Cape theater group. The Vikings band drumline greeted those in attendance with a rousing beat, and it was followed up with the national anthem sung by the Cape chorale.
