Air Force Maj. William D. Lester retires

Air Force Maj. William D. Lester has retired from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years of honorable service. He is the senior director evaluator assigned to the 116th Air Control Wing Operations Group, Robins Air Force Base, Ga.
The major is married to Vicki D. Lester and is the son of James and Shirley J. Lester of Prosperity, S.C., and son-in-law of Elaine D. Reinart of Lewes.
He graduated in 1984 from Mid Carolina High School, Prosperity, S.C., and received a bachelor of science in 1999 from Wayland Baptist University, Wichita Falls, Texas.
