‘DJ’ Daniel - the Bravest 13-year-old from Houston, Texas

 

We are deeply grateful to Daniel Willis, Sussex County Republican Party Chair and Delaware GOP Executive Committee Member, for helping bring the incredible Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel and his amazing father, Theodis Daniel, to Delaware for our 4th Annual Rally for Our First Responders.

 

At around 12:20 PM, DJ Daniel took the stage and was surrounded by First Responders from across Delaware, who presented him with patches, challenge coins, shirts, hats, and more. It was a powerful moment of unity, love, and gratitude.

 

🎖️ @devarjaye_ (DJ) , a , has bravely battled brain and spinal cancer. Despite facing a new challenge with three recently diagnosed tumors, DJ continues to inspire the nation. He has been sworn in as an honorary officer by over 1,300 agencies, including the Secret Service, and was recognized by former President Trump.

 

💙 DJ is strong, smart, funny, loving, and kind — and meeting him and his father Theodis was an honor for my husband Darren Shaffer and me. Delaware came together to give DJ the red carpet treatment, and our First Responders were proud to wrap him in support.

 

🛡️ He may be facing the toughest fight of his life, but DJ has already accomplished more in 13 years than most do in a lifetime — all with the heart of a true hero. He will forever be in our hearts.
