Event has passed

Friends of Lewes Canalfront Park, with the generous support from the Dagesse family and the Lewes Beach Dairy Queen, are pleased that the Rehoboth Summer Children's Theatre will stage a clever and  fun-filled performance of “Peter Pan” in the park on Thursday, August 17 at 6:30 pm.  Bring your entire family, blanket or lawn chairs, and perhaps a picnic dinner for this free event on the lawn of Lewes Canalfront Park.  The park is located at 211 Front Street on the banks of the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal in Historic Lewes.

The timeless classic of youthful joy by J.M. Barrie takes the stage as free spirited and mischievous Peter Pan with sidekick Tinkerbell lead the Darling Children to the mythical island of Neverland. Along with Peter’s band of Lost Boys, they encounter pirates, mermaids, natives and a ticking crocodile on an amazing adventure that they will treasure forever!

Also, mark your August calendar for other free events in the Park, Cinema by the Canal on Thursday August 24 (Jaws), and Concert by the Canal on Thursday August 31 (Clifford Keith Band). For more information call the weather/information hotline, 302 645 2795, or www.lewescanalfrontpark.org
