Guardian of Ethics: Jason Farulla Earns Real Estate Industry Leadership Appointment in Sussex County

Farulla also chosen from over 4,400 peers to receive prestigious state honor

Sussex County, DE (December 5, 2025) - Coldwell Banker Premier is proud to announce that Jason Farulla, a full-time real estate agent at the firm's Lewes, Delaware office, has been selected and approved by the Sussex County Association of REALTORS®' (SCAOR) Board of Directors to serve on the 2026 SCAOR Professional Standards Committee. This is Farulla's fourth year serving in this capacity. The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) adopted its Code of Ethics in 1913, making it one of the first ethical codes ever established by a business group. It serves to protect consumers and ensure that REALTORS® act in the best interests of their clients while cooperating with each other. The Code outlines the standard of conduct expected of real estate professionals, with the goal of ensuring integrity, professionalism, and fair treatment. Each local association of REALTORS® selects specially qualified and trained panelists like Farulla to form a Professional Standards Committee. These committees are responsible for enforcing the Code of Ethics on a regional level, and helping members to settle disputes through arbitration and mediation.

Originally from Niagara Falls, New York, Farulla entered the real estate industry in 2002. To date, he has achieved the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation as well as several certifications for expertise in relocation. Farulla says he wants to do his part to give back to his Board of REALTORS®, so he feels it's well worth the hard work involved in carrying out these industry leadership assignments. He adds that he continues to personally learn and grow by serving in these roles, saying, "My experiences have reinforced for me that the most important part of our job as agents is to have integrity and good strong ethics. The Code of Ethics isn't just a set of rules — it’s a protection for everyone, and it's the foundation of trust in our industry."

Farulla has also been accepted into the Delaware Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy Class of 2026. Farulla is one of just six elite real estate agents chosen for this honor, out of a total of over 4,400 REALTORS® in the state of Delaware. Over the next year, Farulla will engage in advanced professional development, collaborative learning, and hands-on experiences designed to strengthen leadership across Delaware’s real estate community.

Julie Gritton, Jason Farulla’s Team Leader at Coldwell Banker Premier, says, “I’m incredibly proud of Jason and all he’s achieved. His passion and commitment to the industry inspire our entire team and play a key role in mentoring and developing outstanding agents.”
